Hey Neighbors! Wyatt Feilon here (you can learn more about me here), and I’m thrilled to share a recent project that’s close to home—literally—just outside Budd Lake, in beautiful Flanders, NJ!
When we first met the homeowners, they had a perfectly good asphalt driveway—but it looked dated and lacked charm. They dreamed of upgrading their outdoor space with a paver patio, but still needed functionality for their cars. They wanted something beautiful, durable, and low-maintenance—a place that would blend aesthetics with everyday use.
That’s exactly where our hardscaping, design-build, and creative problem-solving come in.
To achieve that balance, we chose turfstone pavers—a fantastic hybrid solution. These pavers support vehicles and are ideal for driveway overflow, side parking, or just adding a landscape-friendly edge.
It’s been an honor to serve folks throughout our local area—whether in Budd Lake, Flanders, Chester, Hackettstown, or Morristown. We love bringing practical, beautiful outdoor spaces to life through our design build, hardscaping, and pavers expertise.

Q: How long does turfstone installation take?
A: Typically 1–2 days for a standard driveway area, plus a couple of days for grass to establish.
Q: Do turfstone pavers need a lot of maintenance?
A: Not much—just occasional mowing (with a drop mower) and ensuring grass fills the joints.
Q: Will grass really grow between the pavers?
A: Absolutely—once seeded, native grass fills in nicely over spring and summer.
Q: How does turfstone compare to solid pavers?
A: Turfstone offers better drainage and a greener aesthetic, though solid traditional pavers give a more formal look.
Q: Can turfstone work in winter and cold weather?
A: Yes—turfstone handles freeze-thaw cycles well. Snow tools work fine over the top.
Q: Can I see more examples of Feilon’s design-build work?
A: Of course—check out more projects and learn about us on our website.
